OVERVIEW
SCARF Technologies is a fabless manufacturer of a patent-pending RF energy harvesting circuit. SCARF Technologies was founded in 2009 and became a privately-held corporation in 2011. The company maintains its headquarters in the heart of Silicon Valley, in Menlo Park, California.
COMPANY VISION
SCARF Technologies' vision is to bring to market a new type of energy harvesting module which can provide an endless supply of power to small electronic devices. Batteries are a large source of non-biodegradable, hazardous waste, and we hope that our power module will one day eliminate the need to use these pollutants. We plan to release our first product line in early 2012. These initial power sources will be able to continuously power low-power remote and portable electronics. The company hopes to release a second, improved product line capable of powering most consumer electronics by mid-2014.
